Cyber Wales began with the formation of the South Wales Cyber Security Cluster by Pervade Software Ltd in association with Urquhart-Dykes & Lord LLP.
North Wales Cluster
Following the growth of interest in Cyber Wales in the North, the North Wales Cyber Security Cluster was formed by Hashtag Marketing Ltd with the help of Glyndwr University.
Data Privacy Cluster
With the release of the GDPR regulations came a lot of uncertainty for requirements of future cyber. This led to the formation of the Data Privacy Cluster.
British Army Joins
53 Signals Squadron based at Ty Llewelyn barracks in Cardiff joined Cyber Wales and hosted members of the South Wales Cluster discussing the new Cyber Troop being formed.

IP Wales Cluster
With increasing reports of intellectual property theft and risks around the globe, the IP Wales Cluster was formed to explore legal and technological protections for IP.
Building on their continued engagement with Cyber Wales, 53 Signals Squadron invited members of the ecosystem to assist in the training of the new Cyber Troop.

Women in Cyber
As the ecosystem continued to grow, a new cluster was formed to explore strategies for combating the challenges of gender equality and attracting young women to cyber careers.

Euro Cyber Week
Cyber Wales members were welcomed at Euro Cyber Week in Rennes, participating in showcases of talent and group discussions about the future collaboration.
RSA in San Francisco
Members of Cyber Wales are invited to join a Trade Mission to RSA Cyber Security tradeshow in San Francisco.
