On 4 & 5 October the Cyber Security Week Congress & Expo consisted of an exposition for national and international organisations to display their innovative cyber security solutions, a matchmaking programme with pre-arranged meetings, an Access to Capital event, an Access to Talent event and dozens of other cyber security related keynotes, sessions and workshops.
The CSW Congress and Expo was powered by The Hague Security Delta, a Founding Member of GlobalEPIC (the Ecosystem of ecosystems for Partnership and Innovation in Cyber) and took place at the Fokker Terminal in The Hague.
John Davies, Co-founder & Chair of the South Wales Cyber Security Cluster, attended the event to represent Cyber Wales and the Welsh Cyber Security Clusters at the GlobalEPIC Annual Symposium which was one of the independent events at the Congress.
The symposium marked the anniversary of the launch of GlobalEPIC and it was a terrific opportunity for the original 14 Ecosystems to come together again and also to meet representatives from the new Ecosystems who have joined GlobalEPIC over the previous 12 months.
The Ecosystem of ecosystems has grown since it was launched to encompass no fewer than 26 Cyber Security Ecosystems from 22 countries spanning 5 continents. New Ecosystems represented at the Symposium included the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Taiwan, Turkey and the Basque Region of Spain.
