Foreign and Commonwealth Office Tech Newsletter – Date: July 2019

Overview of upcoming tech events and opportunities in the UAE

I hope you’re all having a good summer, whether baking in the Middle East or slightly cooler in the UK (just!), I wanted to share an update to include the various shows and conferences we are aware of taking place over the next few months, some of which might be of interest to you and also share an overview from our Queen’s Birthday Party earlier this year, where we had some UK tech companies showcasing their technology and innovation (and the Dubai Police Robot!)

If you have any content suggestions for future newsletters, e.g. legal updates on tech related regulation in the UAE or interesting updates on projects you are working on in the UAE or wider region which you would like to share, do let me know – drop me a line Alison.young@fco.gov.uk (and it would be great to catch up!)
