In 2018, no less than 13 organisations from the Cyber Wales Ecosystem (10 companies and 3 universities) made the trip to Brussels to help the Welsh Government team celebrate St David’s Day.
Also during the day Cyber Wales signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with B-Hive, a European collaborative innovation fintech platform that brings together major banks, insurers and market infrastructure players.
Welsh Government team are organising another St David’s Day event and are inviting Welsh companies to come to Belgium and celebrate in style.
They can cover the costs of travel and accommodation for two people so, on a first come first served basis, they’d like to invite you and other representatives of Cyber Wales to come to Brussels for two days and they’ll put a programme together for you to meet with contacts such as Beehive, LSEC, ECSO, DIT, Wallonia Cyber Representatives commercial/infrastructure representatives etc to see if there are opportunities to work with them.
This will work around their annual St David’s Day reception in the British Residence on 4th March – so potential itinerary would look like:
Wednesday 4th March
AM travel to Brussels
PM – meetings
Evening – attend St David’s Day Reception
Thursday 5th March
AM – meetings
PM – travel back to Wales
Please could you let Ruth Stockley (firstname.lastname@example.org) know if you would be interested and available to come out to Brussels for this trip as soon as possible.
