Launched in 2015, CYBERSEC is a successful and well-established annual public policy conference dedicated to strategic security aspects of the global technology revolution. Having responded to the need for trust-based, multilateral and cross-sectoral cooperation, CYBERSEC has quickly gone beyond a typical conference format, giving rise to a thriving international community experts and professionals.
CYBERSEC Global 2020 will rally under the banner Together Against Adversarial Internet because the Internet, one of the greatest inventions of the last century that completely transformed our lives, is rapidly moving us to a new, fully digital world. From the very beginning of the humankind history, each innovation was always accompanied by new threats. New technology enabled both the well-being of societies and the adversarial, malicious activities.
The main topics of CYBERSEC Global 2020 will follow the four traditional CYBERSEC thematic streams - Business, Defence, State & Future.
Just like the Cyber Wales Ecosystem, The Kościuszko Institute, the organisers of CYBERSEC are founding members of the Global Ecosystem of ecosystems for Partnerships and Innovation in Cyber (GlobalEPIC). Cyber Wales have supported this event as attendees, speakers, panelists and exhibitors since it was first run and we are delighted to be taking part again this year.
