24th September 2019 | 14:00 - 16:00

The next meeting of the Education & Training Cluster will be jam-packed with news and information about Cyber Education in Wales and it will be held at Bridgend College once again.

Professor Hilary Lappin-Scott OBE, winner of the STEM 'Pioneer' Award 2017 will share thoughts on encouraging people into STEM subjects.

Careers Wales will be discussing how they engage with schools and the work being carried out by a particular Cardiff school on encouraging pupils into cyber security;

VMWare will also be at the meeting to share information with us on their numerous training and education initatives;

Wydean School will also provide an update on exciting opportunities for schools and young people in cyber.

And our wonderful hostess, Claire George will give us an update on how our Welsh entrants got on at the World Skills 2019 competition in Kazan, Russia.

There will be an opportunity for attendees to feedback on work they are doing on the education and training front in cybersecurity and highlight any issues they want to discuss.

If you cannot attend in person please contact me straight away because arrangements can be made for you to join us remotely by video link, just as our colleagues at Glyndwr University in North Wales will be doing.
